Radio

In order to remain true to the origins of this website, there must be audio/sound. Pam-Brandis-Sounds is a page at ZArtTones.com, where “watermarked” versions of several songs from the first three Pam Brandis albums emerged with the launch of that website in 2013.

PamBrandisRadio.com was launched later to include a recording journal page called “Pam Brandis Product.” This page featured snipits of new songs as they were being written for album four, “Horizons” and album five, “Time Frames.”

Soon after the product page was added, Pam began recording episodes for the “Savvy Music Strategies Podcast” with topics aimed at young aspiring songwriters/bands. The podcast was an extension of the “Music and Economics” and “Sales 101” pages where Pam had been sharing knowledge gained from membership in two regional cover bands between 1981 and 1996.

The more streamlined version of PamBrandisRadio.com represents a forward look at Pam’s return to performing live music for private functions in public places and spaces. Because Pam was unable to find online readership for her journal articles, some or most of that detail may find its way into a future book while Pam regains better traction in the face-to-face, live and in-person setting.

Depending upon the rigor of Pam’s gigging schedule, some of the songs from albums four through six may (re)appear as medley’s here, and some or all of the podcast episodes may also reappear. A resurgence of some of the Pam Brandis album material will help prepare the public for concerts which will consist more of original material than cover material.

There is only so much time in a day for practice, writing, learning new audio gear, recording, and gigging. It remains debatable to what degree video will ever appear here, except paid-only-access concert video which may be better placed at ZArtTones.com. That is unless PamBrandisRadio.com becomes PamBrandisConcertsEtc.com or some such entity.

Considering the fact that Pam cut her teeth on radio music and also learned how to work out song chord structure by listening to radio and records, the radio theme will likely continue on at least one page at ZArtTones.com and/or PamBrandisRadio.com and/or PamBrandisConcertsEtc.
